An Unforgettable Week in Central West NSW 🇦🇺
Wow, what a week!
I’m still buzzing from one of the most incredible trips yet. From connecting with our amazing DediKate community to fully embracing rural Aussie life, this trip was packed with meaningful moments, plenty of laughs, and a few adventures along the way!
To everyone who welcomed us with open arms, shared your homes, and made us feel like part of your world — thank you. Here’s a recap of the highlights:
Kicking Off the Trip with Sophie Hansen & Farm Fun 🏡🍷
We hit the ground running with an Insta Live HIIT and yoga session with the amazing Sophie Hansen. She and her family are just the best — we had such a great time sharing stories, sipping wine, and relaxing in their gorgeous farm hot tub.
We also spent half a day creating content on Sophie’s farm near Orange — such a stunning location! And yes, content creation is a lot harder than it looks, but totally worth it.
International Women’s Day – A True Highlight 💜
One of the absolute highlights of our trip was celebrating International Women’s Day with a room full of inspiring women.
I was incredibly honoured to be invited to speak on a panel at Gather in Gil — an amazing event that brought together women from across the Central West and beyond. It was such a privilege to share my story as part of a panel of inspiring women, and to connect with both long-time and new DediKate members.
The energy in the room was incredible — women supporting women, sharing stories, challenges, and triumphs. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do and why DediKate is all about building connections, celebrating strength, and lifting each other up.

Starting the Day Right – Sunrise HIIT & Yoga 💪🌸
Before heading to the event, we kicked off International Women’s Day in true DediKate style — with an early morning HIIT and yoga session in Dubbo. It was such a special way to start the day — moving together, breathing together, and celebrating the strength and resilience of women.
There’s something so powerful about gathering as a group and supporting one another through movement — it set such a positive and empowering tone for the day ahead.
Being able to combine both fitness and connection, and then carry that energy into the event later in the day, was honestly one of my favourite moments of the entire trip.
Farm Life, Fun & a Few Mishaps 🚜🦘
No rural trip is complete without a bit of farm life — and a few adventures along the way!
We were treated to a dinner and farm tour at a DediKate member’s home, including a real Aussie spotlighting experience (and yes, goggles were essential to keep the bugs out of our eyes! 😂).
We also captured content on another member’s farm near Dubbo — and wow, it was HOT! At one point, we accidentally wandered onto a neighbouring property... and let’s just say the owner wasn’t overly impressed. Oops! 😬
To top it all off, we had a bit of a mishap with a roo on the way to our virtual run club event at Katie Nash’s! Thankfully, everyone was okay, and we still had a fantastic run club session, with women joining in from all over NZ and Australia!
Gilgandra, Orange & Heartfelt Connections 💛📸
From Dubbo, we headed north to Gilgandra for three nights, where we squeezed in a full-on but amazing professional photoshoot — I can’t wait to share the pics!
We also had so much fun filming our now viral Kiwi vs. Aussie accent reel (Kiwis are winning, Aussies — time to vote! 😂).
And our night in Orange catching up with three beautiful DediKate members was so special — a night full of laughing, chatting, and sharing stories. It was such a wonderful reminder of what DediKate is all about — connection and community.
Wrapping Up with Bondi & Beautiful Moments with Nadine 🌊🧘♀️
Throughout the week, I was lucky to have Nadine, our amazing DediKate yoga instructor, by my side. She brought such a calming and positive energy to every experience — it honestly wouldn’t have been the same without her.
After such a full-on week, Nadine and I wrapped up with two nights in Bondi — the perfect way to unwind. We soaked up the ocean views, walked the Bondi to Bronte track, sipped chilli margaritas, and even squeezed in some (not very successful!) shopping. It was the best way to reflect, relax, and celebrate an unforgettable trip together.
Feeling Grateful 💛
To everyone who welcomed us so warmly — thank you. Your kindness, generosity, and openness made this trip truly unforgettable.
And to my family and friends back in NZ — thank you for always supporting me and making it possible for me to do what I love.
I’m already counting down to the next adventure, but for now, I’ll be soaking in all the incredible memories from our time in Central West NSW.
