DediKate Member of the Year
A massive congratulations to our 2025 DediKate Member of the Year winners, your stories truly stopped us in our tracks.
The standard this year was incredibly high, and choosing the winners was no easy task. Every entry reflected commitment, resilience, and real-life strength, which is exactly what DediKate is all about. Because of this, we were proud to also recognise a group of outstanding runners-up whose journeys deserve to be celebrated just as loudly. āØ
To everyone who took the time to enter, thank you. Your honesty, consistency, and courage continue to inspire our trainers, our team, and this entire community. š
You remind us every day why DediKate exists.

NZ Runner-Up š Emma Graham
I first came across DediKate years ago when there was a promo with New World and my son was about two. I did not stick with it at the time, but after stepping away from co-owning an F45 studio 5 years ago, I needed something flexible to keep my fitness up. I found DediKate again and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. As a busy mum, having workouts I can do when it suits me is ideal, and the amazing trainers, especially Kate, Anna and Caro (even on replay!), keep me coming back week after week.
At 42 and in perimenopause, the PPM workouts have made a huge difference. My strength and energy have both improved, and I love the mindset shift of not needing every workout to be a sweat session.
That approach has helped me listen to my body and adjust my expectations when I am not feeling one hundred percent. The trainers remind us that doing what we can on the day still counts, which has helped me stay consistent and positive. Last year I struggled with awful anxiety brought on by perimenopause. The yoga sessions were a lifeline during that time, and when the PPM content arrived it felt like perfect.
Knowing there is a whole community going through similar things has been a huge comfort. Earlier this year I also injured my knee, and the PPM strength focus has been key in rebuilding and supporting my rehab.
My favourite workouts are PPM Sculpt and BoxHiit. I love lifting heavy and I love getting on the bag. They make me feel strong, capable and grounded. The planner function has also been a game changer. I set up my week every Sunday night and stick to the same morning training time, which means one less thing to think about during a full and busy week.
Looking back, what I am most proud of is my consistency. Over five years there have been weeks when I have been sick or travelling, but when I am well again or back home I simply pick up where I left off - DediKate makes it so easy. Staying committed while being a mum and working full time feels like a real achievement.

18 months ago I got out of bed and realised I had lost my balance. It turned out a blood clot had lodged my brain, causing a stroke. For 8 months I rested battling with fatigue.
During that time I read about the power of exercise to heal the brain and the benefits of strength training. I decided to that I had a chance to build a healthier life for myself. I knew that at home workouts would work and minimise the fatigue.
At first it was hard. 3kg weights felt tough and I was very unfit. But I just kept going. Now 15kg weights are my go to for some lifts and the woman who couldn't walk can now sprint up and down the lawn.
All my health indicators are good. I have a dream for being that old lady that goes for hikes and bike rides.
I look forward to my daily exercise it's the best form of self care. I would recommend Dedikate to anyone who needs to make changes at their own pace. They way I look at you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
AU Winner š Verda Zammataro
Iāve been with DediKate for a few years, but Thrive and the PPM workouts have been a true game changer this past year. Iāve always been active, but with four kids, work, and farm life, consistency has come and gone. Looking back, the fatigue, sore joints, and loss of strength were all signs of perimenopause, I just didnāt know it then.
DediKate fits perfectly into real life. Some weeks I get all my workouts done, other weeks itās a few quick PPM sculpts and thatās okay.
Over the past year Iāve built real strength, going from 10kg squats and deadlifts to 18.5kg, and I finally feel strong and capable again.
I love that Iām not limited to just one style of training. The PPM, rehab, and minis have been lifesavers. Menopause hasnāt been easy, but DediKate has helped me manage it with less pain, more energy, and strength I thought I was losing for good.
Iām proud Iāve stuck with it through the messy seasons of life, and I tell everyone about DediKate. Itās honestly been a game changer, and Iām excited to keep getting stronger.
AU Runner Up š Sheree Riggs
I live on a property in South Australia and found DediKate through my PT friend āNicā - DediKate trainer! At the time, I was struggling with chronic neck pain and couldnāt stick to a consistent strength routine, especially once travelling for PT became too hard to fit in around work and family life.
Everything changed when I found out I was in perimenopause and discovered DediKateās PPM workouts. For the first time, I felt seen. The structured PPM training and Thrive Planner removed the overwhelming guesswork and helped me build consistency. I now train three times a week, plus walk and do yoga.
My whole family now knows that the time between 6am and 7am, Monday to Friday, is my time. Iāve realised that if my workout doesnāt happen between those times, it wonāt happen, so that time for me is non-negotiable, and the results have been life-changing, Iām stronger, pain-free, and havenāt needed the physio in a long time.
Thank you to Kate and the DediKate team for creating such a supportive space. Joining DediKate has been one of the best decision Iāve made for my health.

NZ Runner-Up š Kate Jones
I turned 40 last year, feeling apprehensive about a new decade and what it meant for my fitness. But looking back, Iām incredibly proud of my progress. My success didnāt come from a quick fix but from consistency and a mindset shift on what being healthy truly means.
I was training for the Motatapu Marathon when COVID hit in January. In the past, I wouldāve pulled out, but instead, I reframed my goal and completed it by walking and running. It wasnāt a PB, but it was one of the most enjoyable races Iāve ever done, chatting with participants, taking photos, and soaking up the scenery.
Since then, Iāve kept up my fitness through Dedikate challenges like Spice, Twenty, the Summer Challenge, and Run Club. The community and variety of workouts keep me motivated, and I love the Ignite Kettlebell and PPM Sculpt sessionsāthey challenge me both physically and mentally.
This year, Iāve felt stronger, more confident, and more capable in all aspects of life. I even placed 1st in my age group for the first time at the Taieri Coastal Classic and hit my highest-ever VO2 max. As I turn 41, I can confidently say, Iām in my 40s and thriving. Oh, and I canāt wait for the next Dedikate Challenge!
NZ Winner š Kelly Burns
I joined Dedikate in January 2020 as a mum of three, including a 6-month-old. I had always struggled to stick with one exercise routine, but Dedikate changed that with its variety of workouts and challengesāIāve tried them all!
Consistency has been my focus, even when life gets busy. If I miss a week, I know I can jump back in (often with the āBack on the Wagonā workout!). Iāve gone from being amazed at lifting 10kg weights to heaving 20kg dumbbells in my perimenopause strength sessions, just what I needed at this stage.
As a solo parent, gym time isnāt realistic, but Dedikateās 20-minute workouts fit my schedule. I even take them on work trips, squeezing in hotel room pilates or a gym session when jetlag allows.
Exercising at home has made fitness accessible and, unexpectedly, a normal part of life for my kids. That once 6-month-old has grown up watching me train, now at 5, she has her own 1kg weights and sometimes joins in!
AUS Winner š Alicia Langan
At 46, Iām feeling stronger than ever, but my journey hasnāt been easy. Diagnosed with early menopause at 40, I faced relentless sleep disturbances, young kids who still donāt sleep well, and the demands of work and family life. In 2019, a Dexa scan revealed osteopenia, and I was advised to exercise, take calcium, and return to the pill. I started researching and learned that strength training, reducing alcohol, and prioritising sleep were key.
I tried various online programs but found them too expensive, until I discovered Dedikate. I signed up for a 12-week promo and never looked back! Now in my second year, I love the variety, the expert trainers, and the flexibility to work out from home. The Peri & Post-Menopausal program has been a game-changer, and I aim for three sessions a week without needing to juggle my familyās schedule.
Last month, another Dexa scan showed an 8% improvementāIām no longer osteopenic! HRT, diet, and consistent training have paid off. Dedikate has given me the tools, but Iām proud of myself for building the person I want to be. Iām in this for the long haul, to be strong, healthy, and here for my boys.
AUS Runner-Up š Sally Pittman
I first discovered Dedikate through Kate at a Rural Womenās Day event. Iāve always been active but struggled with consistency, seasons, schedules, and gym classes never fit my lifestyle. Following Kate on Instagram, I was drawn to her authenticity and farm life, which made me take the next step.
I signed up for the Buy From the Bush Challenge and was impressed by the variety of workouts. After my trial, I committed to a 12-month membership, far more affordable and flexible than a gym. Over time, I added small weights and noticed my strength improving, not just in workouts but in daily farm and household tasks.
Iām not chasing records or jean sizes, I just want to look after my health, and Dedikate makes that easy. Whether itās a Sculpt, Ignite, or a calming Pilates session, I choose what I need, when I need it. I also love the recipe section for simple, healthy meal ideas.
Dedikate has made fitness accessible, enjoyable, and part of my everyday life. Quite simply, if I wasnāt a member, I wouldnāt be exercising, so thank you, Kate and the team, for a healthier, happier me!

NZ Runner-Up š Katrina Holmes
"I have been a DediKate member since 2017. I have always loved the opportunities this website has provided for me to be able to work out from home as a busy working mum. I was a keen runner and these workouts provided a great platform to build strength and prevent injuries.
DediKate provides so many different options so that although I could no longer do some of the HIIT sessions to start with, I was able to do pilates, Sculpt, yoga and Meditation, which were all vital for calming the nervous system which is in overdrive when you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
DediKate has been a part of my healing journey, I will be forever grateful for Kate and the remarkable trainers for making health and fitness so accessible to all."
NZ Winner š Shivani Fox-Lewis
"My ACL ruptured in early 2022. It has taken 18 months including surgery to recover. DediKate was the main way I returned to normal activity once my physio cleared me. It felt easier to rehab with exercise and trainers I was familiar with.
I love that DediKate trainers are normal people, who show they sometimes struggle with the workouts, have families to juggle, have injuries sometimes. I derived strength and inspiration from knowing that what I was going through wasnāt just me.
Now I have a rehabilitated knee, normal cholesterol, and Iām fitter too! I can see the beginnings of muscle definition in my arms and thighs! I can do full push-ups on my toes, side planks, things I couldnāt do 4 months ago."
AUS Runner-Up š Claire Daniel
"I did āDediKate with a Mateā with my sister and found a new fitness routine that I actually looked forward to and could easily fit into my days ā even during a hectic harvest season, managing a family and full days driving the chaser bin.
I also love the trainers, I almost feel like I know them all, they are so relatable and encouraging. This was even more apparent when I met Kate, Anna and Nic on their SA tour recently, feeling totally out of my comfort zone I met up with them and felt instantly welcomed and valued - what a community to be part of! To have access to these incredible trainers who are like-minded sets this program apart from any other.
The biggest secret to my success with the program is the sense of community it gives, I like to jump on a challenge, stick to the plan and leave the thinking to DediKate".
AUS Winner š Kate Barbe
"Above all, DediKate helped me discover what it feels like to be in my body just the way it is. I am no longer ashamed to look at myself in the mirror and I no longer compare my body to others. I still have a lot of work to do and it is not always easy, but I keep persevering. DediKate is so much more than workouts, I attended workshops on how to live a healthier life and got informed on how to have a balanced lifestyle.
Throughout my time with DediKate, Iāve completed almost all the challenges that are available. My favorite of all time is DediKate with a Mate because I got a new friend out of it. Silke B is in New Zealand and distance was not an issue to keep each other accountable every day. DediKate has changed my life for the better and I am so grateful to everyone in the Dedikate community."
