Does my mate need to be a DediKate Member?
Yes, and your mate can be anywhere in the world!
Do I need to live in the same place as my mate?
No you don't! You don't have to do your workouts together. Do them in your own time and then just keep in touch to encourage each other and keep each other accountable.
What types of workouts are in this challenge?
We have a wide range of workouts on DediKate including: Weight Training, HIIT, Boxing, Yoga, Pilates, Low Impact, Peri to post menopause, Pregnancy and Postpartum. Each different type of workout is worth a different amount of points and you get to choose which ones you do!
Is this suitable for all fitness levels
Our workouts are suitable for ALL fitness levels! Our trainers provide modifications for all fitness levels, and encourage you to do your best.
If you are pregnant or postpartum, simply print the DWAM Planner and then follow our pregnancy programme, DediKate Baby, or our postpartum programme, DediKate Glow. This means you can do the right programme for you, but still take part in DediKate Twenty and be in the running to win the prize!
What else do I get access to?
As a DediKate member you get access to everything on DediKate! This includes new workouts uploaded each week, workout challenges, recipes, specialised instructors, support and motivation from DediKate members and more!
Do I need equipment?
If you DON'T have Dumbbells, simply select workouts with no equipment! All you need is a small space to workout and either a phone, tablet or laptop.
IF you want to do workouts with weights, you will need:
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 1-3kgs+
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 4-10kgs+
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 8-20kgs+ (Optional for PPM Sculpt workouts)
- Swiss Ball (can do without)
And for some fun, our favourite non-essentials include earphones, a Pilates Ball, a Kettlebell and a set of Resistance Bands!
Is this open for both New Zealanders and Australians?
Yes it sure is! Infact anyone anywhere in the world can join!
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your DediKate Membership at any time. You pay in advance, so if you cancel, your membership will stop when your next payment would have been due.

Weight Training
Using basic equipment, tone and strengthen your body with our low impact strength workouts and our high intensity resistance training workouts that you can do anywhere.
HIIT Training
Our HIIT workouts are designed to be a short and high intensity blast. Put in maximum effort for a short amount of time to get results.
Boxing
We offer two types of boxing workouts; BOXhiit, HIIT style workouts to improve your all round fitness and strength and BOXlift, low impact yet fast paced boxing style weight training workouts.
Yoga & Pilates
Designed to help you centre your mind and body, strengthen, tone and improve your flexibility, muscle balance and control.
Cardio
Our audio cardio workouts are designed to motivate and encourage you through your session. Great for those who want to increase their cardio fitness, efficiency and endurance.
Low Impact
Low impact (no jumping) workout options so you can build strength and fitness without high impact on your body.

Kate Ivey - Founder and Trainer

Bachelor of Physical Education, Scholarship in Exercise Prescription, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Certificate in Food and Nutrition, Level 4 Freestyle Group Exercise, Level 3 Circuit Training, Certificate in Menopause 2.0 with Dr Stacy Sims.
Founder and CEO of Kate Ivey Fitness and DediKate, Kate is passionate about helping women to be successful with their health and fitness, while maintaining balance. She started DediKate to help busy Kiwi and Aussie women like herself to lead positive, healthy and fitness-filled lives.

Anna McDermid

Anna is one of our amazing HIIT + Strength Trainers, she loves being able to help train and motivate members from her living room/neighbourhood to theirs. Anna is a mother of two living in sunny Marlborough where the wine grows and flows! She's a HIIT kind of girl and loves the combo of resistance training and HIIT in Ignite! When she's not working, she loves exercising outdoors and heading down the Sounds with her fam. "I wouldn’t say I’m naturally fit or a naturally fast runner, I’ve had to work damn hard to get to where I am now and I’m proud of myself for it!"

Mikahla Wells
HIIT and Strength Trainer
Cert III in Fitness, currently studying Cert IV including Kettlebell Level 1 Instructor, Bachelor of Science Majoring in Zoology.
Born and raised in the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia, Mikahla has always been drawn back to the lifestyle of living rurally. She now lives on a sheep and cropping farm with her husband Mitchell and almost 2 year old Fletcher.
She loves strength and power training, as well as using resistance bands to get a targeted burn. Mikahla aims to motivate and inspire regional and rural women through movement and is an advocate for spreading the message of how important exercise is for your physical and mental health!

Nic Sandland
HIIT + Strength Trainer
Certificate III & IV in Fitness, Bachelor in Dance Performance (first year), Certificate IV in Dance, Strength & Conditioning (ASCA), Pre & Post Natal (mishfit® Pre & Post-Natal training & Pre & Postnatal Specialist Trainer course with Tammy Obst, STOTT PILATES reformer, BARRE instructor, Punch fit level 1 & Kettlebell level 1.
Despite being a city girl at heart Nic fell in love with her local community in Jamestown, South Australia where she moved for her farming husband. Nic then discovered a particular passion for training and helping women in rural areas and launched NicFit Training, a PT and group fitness studio in 2019, which has since expanded into a member-based gym.
Nic has a strong background in dance and has performed professionally in Adelaide, interstate and around the world. She has since swapped dancing for running and cannot wait to train for future marathons after completing her first in 2022.
