"For such a long time I had this fixation that the only way to lose weight was high intensity cardio and calorie deficit turns I was so wrong!
Post baby number 2 I had gained a large amount of weight. Summer 2021 we were holidaying in central. It was a beautiful hot day I sat at the waters edge with tears in my eyes as I watched my sons swim with their Dad and Aunties. I was so embarrassed in my self and my body. I refused take off my dress and jump in to cool off. When we got back to the car my husband asked why I wouldn’t get in I burst into tears. We spoke about how I was feeling he told me to write it all down and use this as my why!
We both agreed that we needed a lifestyle change. Returning from holiday I spoke to a friend she said try Kate Ivey! (Must admit I’ve been here before but maybe not in the right head space). So I signed upto Dedikate48, I made a commitment to my self to quit diet coke, fuel my body, see each meal as nourishment and to move and love my body. I took on the holistic approach and here we are today!! Who knew I could love Yoga, Pilates, stretch sessions along with my faves of Ignite and Power Sessions!
I have not touched a Diet Coke in 2 months, we have changed our diet dramatically eating mostly whole foods (loving DediKate Eat Great). Exercising 5-6 times a week (I also visit a PT once a week). I've signed back up to winter sports, have a lot more energy, my skin has cleared up, and I have dropped 20kg whilst doing all this.
I am so proud! I have so much more energy for my children, my mind feels clearer, and I am happy."
