"Running 2 businesses, being a mum to two boys and a wife doesn’t leave much time for ‘me time’ especially “exercise time!" So the short 5-20mins workouts are perfect and fit in to the 9 month olds catnap sleeps.
I don’t think you’ll ever truly know just how much DediKate has helped me through my postpartum depression and anxiety post baby number 2 and how truly thankful I am that there is something like this available to us women! I am still learning, taking it slowly and listening to myself/body but I am truly thankful for all the exercise videos, advice, meditations, programs, challenges etc you and your team put up.
After being diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety after baby number 1 (which due to the denial and embarrassment I delayed getting help for 8months) I battled for quite a while on my own, hiding in the shadows, until I finally accepted help and got better but it took a very long time and a specific postpartum exercise routine was missing from my lifestyle changes.
This time round when I started noticing the early signs with baby number 2 I was quick to action and signed up to DediKate as all the postpartum workouts had just kicked off….couldn’t have been better timing. They not only helped my body get some of its pelvic and core strength back pretty quickly but helped me mentally immensely and I was able to bounce back in half the time compared to first time round.
I still have a long road to go to get back to pre baby weight but I am loving doing the postpartum Ground Zero challenge so I can progress up safely to all the other amazing workout options (excited to try boxing) that are available to this busy mum!
