Our 8-Week Strength x Cardio Challenge combines short, effective workouts with your favourite cardio to help you feel fitter, stronger and more confident. And with the DediKate community beside you, you’ll never do it alone.
We’ve got a planner for everyone! So if you're just getting started, working through peri to post menopause, or ready to push yourself with a hardcore option. They’re designed to guide you, give you structure, and still leave room to fit around real life. No matter which one you choose, you’ll be part of a community cheering you on every step of the way.

We’ve created 4 Summer Challenge planners to choose from, suitable for all fitness levels, goals and abilities. Each one includes key workouts and cardio sessions to get you moving, enjoying the outdoors, and building healthy habits.
Plus, you’ll complete fitness testing at the beginning and end of the challenge to track your progress, along with a Mindset and Goal Setting Worksheet to keep you focused and motivated. All the tools you need for a successful challenge!

FAQs
Is this challenge suitable for beginners?
Yes! Our workouts are suitable for ALL fitness levels! We have 3 options of planners to suit all levels. Our trainers also provide modifications for all fitness levels, and encourage you to do your best. We also have a super supportive community on Facebook who are also starting out, just like you!
If you are pregnant or postpartum, simply print one of the planners and then follow our pregnancy programme, DediKate Baby, or our postpartum programme, DediKate Glow. This means you can do the right programme for you, but still take part in DediKate Spice.
What else do I get access to?
As a DediKate member you get access to everything on DediKate! There are no hidden fees!
This includes new workouts uploaded each week, workout challenges, recipes, specialised instructors, support and motivation from DediKate members and more!
What kind of Cardio do I have to do?
The cardio aspect of the challenge is to encourage you to get outside, enjoy nature and the warmer weather! This could be walking, biking, running, swimming and if you can't get outside and have a treadmill or spin bike then you can do this instead.
Do I need equipment?
Equipment is optional! All you need is a small space to workout and either a phone, tablet or laptop.
If you want to do weights workouts, you will need:
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 1-4+kgs (light weights)
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 4-10+kgs (heavy weights)
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 8-20+kgs (super heavy weights if you are going the PPM (Peri to Post Menopause) planner)
And for some fun, our favourite non-essentials include earphones and a set of Resistance Bands! Get them HERE!

Kate Ivey
Founder and Trainer
Bachelor of Physical Education, Scholarship in Exercise Prescription, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Certificate in Food and Nutrition, Level 4 Freestyle Group Exercise, Level 3 Circuit Training, Certificate in Menopause 2.0 with Dr Stacy Simms.
Founder and CEO of Kate Ivey Fitness and DediKate, Kate is passionate about helping women to be successful with their health and fitness, while maintaining balance. She started DediKate to help busy Kiwi women like herself to lead positive, healthy and fitness-filled lives.

Tracy Scott
Head Trainer
Certificate in Fitness Management, Certificate in Exercise Level 3 and 4, Certificate in Group Fitness Level 3 and 4, Level 1 Certification Holistic Performance Nutrition, Diploma Positive Psychology, Diploma of Teaching and Learning (Early Childhood).
Tracy embraces two core philosophies: that life should be fully experienced, and that exercise serves as a powerful form of medicine. Tracy is deeply committed to empowering women to recognise that exercise is not only about physical fitness but also about enhancing mental well-being and achieving a harmonious life balance.
A nature enthusiast, she finds joy in the outdoors, particularly around the water, where she can often be spotted wakeboarding or unwinding on the beach with loved ones during the summer months. An avid runner, Tracy covers numerous kilometres each week as she runs through the picturesque vineyards of Marlborough.
Tracy takes great pride in being the mother of four young adults and is a vibrant and energetic Nana to her grandson.

Phillipa Moloney
HIIT + Strength Trainer
Certificate III & IV in Fitness, Bachelor in Dance Performance (first year), Certificate IV in Dance, Strength & Conditioning (ASCA), Pre & Post Natal (mishfit® Pre & Post-Natal training & Pre & Postnatal Specialist Trainer course with Tammy Obst, STOTT PILATES reformer, BARRE instructor, Punch fit level 1 & Kettlebell level 1.
Despite being a city girl at heart Nic fell in love with her local community in Jamestown, South Australia where she moved for her farming husband. Nic then discovered a particular passion for training and helping women in rural areas and launched NicFit Training, a PT and group fitness studio in 2019, which has since expanded into a member-based gym.
Nic has a strong background in dance and has performed professionally in Adelaide, interstate and around the world. She has since swapped dancing for running and cannot wait to train for future marathons after completing her first in 2022.
